Eva and Mother – The science behind science fiction

Between what science knows and what cinema imagines lies an infinite universe.

Starting from the fiction project Eva and Mother, the documentary explores the boundary between scientific reality and cinematic imagination, bringing together astronauts, scientists, artificial-intelligence researchers and audiovisual authors to understand how cinema interprets, anticipates and sometimes inspires the future.

Among the protagonists of the documentary is ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti.
