Innocenzo Manzetti – Il genio ritrovato

The man who imagined the future. The forgotten genius who anticipated the telecommunications revolution.

The history of technology celebrates only a few great names. Yet before many of them, an inventor from the Aosta Valley had already imagined the modern world. Innocenzo Manzetti – The Rediscovered Genius brings back to light the extraordinary story of one of the most brilliant innovators of the nineteenth century.

Through historical documents, archives of Italian newspapers of the time and testimonies from historians of science, the documentary reconstructs the life and work of a man who was able to anticipate the future — from his automaton to the earliest experiments in transmitting the human voice over distance.
